Alan Cardero

SVP Technology

As Senior Vice President of Technology, Alan Cardero is skilled in established and emerging tech, process optimization, and software implementation. As reCommerce grows, Alan is always one step ahead, ensuring the necessary technology systems scale successfully. Outside of the office, he exercises and plays soccer and is an avid fan of Japanese anime and sci-fi.

Current Openings

Perform audits, capture data, and report various key Seller Central account maintenance data. Identify, remove, and track inventory that is no longer sellable on Amazon. Investigate and identify opportunities for reimbursement of selling fee overcharges. Investigate inventory discrepancies and reconcile reports through the utilization of Seller Central reporting and external tools. Submit Amazon support cases to further projects and investigations. Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly reporting for both internal and external stakeholders.

Maintain completeness and accuracy of Amazon offers and required catalog data points across various systems. Maintain database of partner catalogs and price lists, auditing data points to ensure accuracy of systems and ensuring assortment stays current. Ensure accuracy of key detail page attributes including proper product categorization and variations, troubleshooting as needed. Keep assortment of offers in account current, accounting for discontinued and restricted products. Troubleshoot inventory at warehouse without active offers. Provide partners with Amazon marketplace and category data upon request. Submit Amazon support cases as needed.

Prospect and identify target partners across multiple product verticals and build a template for seamless handoff to Inside Sales Business Development Executive(s). Research new product categories and brands to determine fit for reCommerce offering. Conduct margin analyses for product portfolios once partner product details are provided during the sales process. Build revenue growth models / proformas in support of the sales process. Participate in partner calls as needed. Create and review margin analysis reporting.
